Peter began his real estate journey in an unconventional way. Transitioning from the merchant processing industry, Peter’s fascination with real estate was sparked over a casual coffee conversation and a book titled Deals on Wheels. Intrigued by the potential in mobile homes, he attended a seminar led by Lonnie Scruggs, which ignited his passion for real estate. Within days, Peter purchased his first mobile home, marking the start of a prolific career in the industry.
Peter’s early journey was marked by significant learning experiences. After initial success, the mobile home market collapsed due to financing changes, prompting Peter to pivot to traditional real estate. This shift underscored the importance of adaptability and assembling the right team. Early setbacks taught him the value of aligning with experienced mentors and reliable partners, setting the stage for his future success.
A pivotal moment in Peter’s career was partnering with Julie Muse, whom he met through a Craigslist ad. Julie quickly rose through the ranks, and together, they built a powerful acquisition machine, expanding operations beyond Atlanta to 17 locations nationwide. This expansion laid the foundation for the Partner Driven model, which focuses on partnering with everyday people across the country to achieve real estate success.
