So how exactly do you get the best real estate agent? Well, from my point of view, you should always look for a couple of things. Number one, I’m looking for somebody that’s willing to hustle. Right? I want somebody that’s not looking to just sit back and wait for the buyers to come to that agent. So you want to ask the agents some particular questions, like what kind of marketing are they going to do? Are they just going to put it inside the MLS system and wait for the buyers to show up? Or are they going to hustle? Are they good? Are they going to set up open houses? Are they going to have agent caravans? Are they going to do flyer, a flyer blast and things like that. You want someone aggressive on the buyer’s side. If you’re looking to buy a real, a property, the same thing you want someone aggressive? Like what ask him, what is their history? How many buyers have they worked with? How many deals have they put together? Ask them to show you a sampling of the kind of deals or to kind of properties they’re going to show you.
The key when it comes to agents is you want someone to hustle. I’ll also tell you, you want somebody that has some experience because one of the biggest things about working with the right agent is the right agent is very well networked. That means they’re able to bring deals that sometimes other people simply cannot. They may not be on any system. They may not be in MLS, but because their network, other deals, other opportunities, come for them. So someone who’s got the hustle, someone who’s got experience. I also want to know, well, tell me what your currently have going on. See for real estate. He tells me I have no buyers right now. I’m working with, and I have no listings. I have listed that tells me, they’re just waiting for business to come to them and I’m not going to be that guy. So I want somebody that tells me that.
Yeah, I already got a number of listings. I have a couple of buyers. I’m working with someone that already has current activity. I’m going to ask also that agent, what have they done in this area? Like have they sold a house in my neighborhood? Have they hurt? Helped somebody purchase a house in a neighborhood? So bottom line is someone who’s a hustler. Someone who’s got experience, someone’s carrying current inventory in someone that’s done business where I want my property to either be sold or where I’m looking to buy property in. That is how you find a right real estate.
