So cute question that constantly get asked to me is like, Pete, what do I do from a long-term perspective? You know, what do I do for the rest of my life? You know, what’s the big picture vision for myself and how do I figure out what it is? You know? And I always try to bring it down to kind of the very small, basic levels. And what I always tell people is this, Hey, figure out like three things. You love three things that make you happy. Three things you’re passionate about. Don’t worry about the long-term play. Don’t worry about the monetization side. Don’t worry. Can you build a lifestyle with it? Don’t worry about any of that. Just figure out the things that you truly love to do things you’re passionate about things that like bring a smile to your face, whether it’s a one thing in your life two or maybe three things.

And then what I always tell people is like get involved in those things. Yeah. Literally don’t, don’t, don’t try to do them for money. Don’t try to do them is a way to make a living, just start doing more and more of them. And then if you continue to have that love affair with those things, then over a period of time, what you need to do is you need to start figuring out how to monetize one, two, maybe all three of them. Yeah. Literally, there’s nothing that I’ve seen that people get passionate about that you can’t ultimately monetize nothing. Whether it’s something in your working with your mind, whether it’s working with your hands, with your body, whether it’s working in an office, whether it’s working outside, almost anything that we love, our hobbies, our interests are, are things that we work for. Almost all those things can be monetized.

But the problem is the problem is people start monetizing, not based upon what they’re passionate about and what they love. They start monetizing based upon what makes them money and that’s backwards. So step number one from a longterm play, figuring out a couple of things that you love passionate about and make you happy. Get involved, doing, do a more work for somebody that does them work for free in the beginning. And then over a period of time, you start figuring out how to take those loves and passions and how to slowly start monetizing them. That’s how you do it.
