Speaker 1 (00:00):

So there’ll be times in your life where opportunities will cross with timing and we’ve all been there. And usually during those times, you have to make a decision and I could tell you there’s certain things that I was encouraged people don’t do when they’re making that decision. Like, don’t make a decision based upon like, what is cheaper or what is easier or what potentially will get you somewhere quicker. Those are wrong, all the wrong ways to decide. I can tell you most of the things I’ve done in life have not been the cheapest ways to go about doing them. You know, there’s a lot of things that I’ve done in life, in my real estate career and other things that I’ve done, they have not been the absolute quickest way to get somewhere, but there were the right ways of getting somewhere. Um, in, you know, when you come across these times in your life, of course there’s always the easier path.

Speaker 1 (00:53):

Then there’s the most difficult path. Now. It doesn’t mean that the most difficult path has to right path. But I will tell you a lot of times easy, and it’s a covert word for, well, I don’t want to work as hard. I don’t want to put as much effort into it. I want to figure out a way to, you know, get there in an easier way. An easier way is not always the, the right way. So when you come through those times in your life or opportunity, cross as timing, think about the big picture. What’s the ultimate goal and be realistic with how to get there. You might have to put money in more than you want to. It might take you longer than you really want to. It might be the more difficult path. It might be the path that actually involves more than just yourself, but in the end, the keys to focus on the end prize, not on the road to get you there because the road was never easy when you get to the end price. But I could always tell you across the board, every time I’ve taken, the long road spent more money. Did the more challenging things that pay off across the board has always been good. [inaudible].
